2010 has already been a very busy and productive year at the Center for Educational Leadership (CEL).
In addition to the good work already happening in the field with
CEL’s 5 Dimensions of Teaching and Learning Framework (5D), CEL also submitted a response to a major RFP for school turn-arounds in the Newark Public Schools. With an eye towards Central Office Transformations, CEL mounted an exhibit at the recent American Association of School Administrators (AASA) conference in Phoenix. Additionally, CEL hosted a two-day coaching session with Katherine Casey, began a deep round of instructional leadership work with the Seattle Public Schools, and began a new contract for content work in Teton County, Wyoming.
Looking forward, CEL is continuously poised to helping school leaders improve instructional practice with the 5D Framework and improve practice through subject matter coaching, helping district leaders with comprehensive Central Office Transformations, and turning around chronically under-performing schools.
New StaffIn January, CEL welcomed
three new full-time staff members into vital leadership positions: Donna Andle is the new Finance Manager, Daniel Holland is Marketing and Communications Director, and Bill Corrigan is the Instructional Technology Manager.
