Classroom Instruction Videos

Teaching is a sophisticated and complicated process. Although there is no one perfect lesson, these videos are examples of authentic classroom teaching and provide a rich learning opportunity. CEL’s intended use for these videos is to provide opportunities for viewers to analyze instruction using the 5 Dimensions as a lens. Although each video creates a context for thinking and learning about all of the dimensions, each particular video is accompanied by guiding questions relating to one dimension of focus to assist your facilitation and conversation. In addition, most video footage includes a pre-lesson conversation and a lesson debrief with an instructional leadership coach. We hope this experience will provide an intentional focus and support to your district and school’s instructional work.
