Dr. Sharon Williams serves as a project director with the University of Washington Center for Educational Leadership. In this role, she uses her leadership skills to serve students, teachers and leaders in urban school districts. Dr. Williams has shared her expertise in school improvement and professional development on many occasions through national and international conferences and has a keen interest in international education and organizational development and performance excellence. She is an experienced educator with 14 years of experience as a teacher, principal and executive director of teaching and learning and professional development. She is a Fulbright Educational Leadership Exchange recipient and represented the United States in Asia and South America, and is a 2014 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner. Dr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social work and a Master of Arts degree in teaching from the University of Memphis. She received her education specialist and doctorate degrees in administration and supervision from Tennessee State University.
